It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Noel Patrick Windle on Friday, June 19th, 2026, at the age of 76.

Born on December 19th, 1949, in Cornwall, Ontario, Noel was the beloved son of the late Bernard Patrick Windle and Kathleen Romaeus Holden.

Loving father of Lee Ann Merizzi (Luc). He is now reunited with his beloved daughter, Cassandra Marie Cooper (Greg). Cherished friend of Catherine Windle. Dear brother of Wendy Joiner (Larry) and Brenda Mikhail. Noel will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, Tara, Kelly, and Leza; his nephew, Andrew; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He will also be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his three “D’s” — Deborah, Donna, and DQ.

In keeping with Noel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan, West Branch (20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall). Family and friends are invited to attend Noel’s Celebration of Life on Friday, July 24th, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 569 (7 Frost Ave, Long Sault).
